Mr. Scatman has arrived.
Some of you know the name. For those who do not, he is the inventor of ANNE, the ANNE network, the 1schema protocol, the ANTOR protocol, and the Alt Data Network. The brains behind the wheel.
Before ANNE was a Layer 1 data chain, earlier iterations of the technology, under different names, were used in real world projects. The initial spark came from work at an AGI startup between 2006 and 2010. US patents were granted during that time, though they are no longer applicable. A novelty gematria application was built while he was under a non-compete with that startup. Later, the neuromorphic hypergraph found its way into healthcare data, business intelligence, and even a movie recommendation site.
Through those years of applying the technology alongside blockchain, something became clear. Peer-to-peer cash chains were not the right fit for what the hypergraph could do. They were built for transactions, not for meaning. ANNE needed something else. ANNE needed ANNE. A peer-to-peer semantic data system, purpose-built for the kind of knowledge structures that were already taking shape.
