Here's the corner of the forum where ANNE takes a back seat. Not every conversation needs to be about protocols, mining, or semantic graphs. Sometimes you want to talk about what you cooked for dinner, a record you cannot stop playing, or something interesting you read that has nothing to do with decentralisation.
What fits here is almost anything human. Your stories, your joys, your favourite music, films that stuck with you, books worth recommending, photos from a walk, a recipe, a hobby or project you are working on, your cat or dog pics, a story about something that happened to you recently, a rant about something that has nothing to do with technology, a thing you built with your hands, a question about something completely unrelated. If it does not belong anywhere else, it belongs here, aside from the common sense restrictions.
Communities are people who, over time, come to know one another. The off-topic space is where it can happen. You might learn that the person arguing with you about consensus mechanisms also has a recipe for the best sourdough you've ever had. A place where the thread about mining difficulty turns into a thread about what everyone is listening to this week.
If you'd like to moderate your own board in the Off-Topic section, feel free to ask. You can stay strictly on-topic forever, and that's fine. But if you want to hang out, this is the place.
